HISTORY

Interob – INTEROB is a company from Valladolid dedicated to the design, construction, and manufacture of capital goods, with the main activity sector being the design of installations, automation and robotics applications.

The company was established as a company on February 1, 2001, under the name of «INTEROB, S.L.» by the former owners Carlos Gómez and Juan Carlos Muñoz.

Thanks to the trust of customers, INTEROB has had to expand the size of its facilities three times and having been in three different places since its creation. Since 2014 the company has been in Calle Turquesa nº35 (Polígono de San Cristóbal), in Valladolid.

On January 2016, INTEROB moved to new facilities on Calle Helio 5 of the POLÍGONO INDUSTRIAL SAN CRISTOBAL, EL CARRASCAL. There are more than 6,400 square meters divided in 2 buildings. The main building has 800 square meters of offices, 2,000 square meters of warehouse and 400 meters of parking area. The second building has assembly capacity of more than 4000 square meters.

Who is JENOPTIK – JENOPTIK is a globally operating technology group. Optical technologies are the very basis of our business with most of our products and services being provided to the photonics market. Our key target markets primarily include the semiconductor equipment industry, the medical technology, automotive and mechanical engineering, traffic, aviation as well as the security and defence technology industries. JENOPTIK has about 4,100 employees worldwide.

In 2019 JENOPTIK has signed an agreement to acquire 100 percent of the shares in the Spanish company INTEROB. The contract was signed on January 25th. Nowadays, INTEROB S.L. is a 100% subsidiary of JENOPTIK, Jena, Germany and part of the Non-Photonics division.
